H-Series

H-Series Housing Overview

The Semtrex H-Series Housing is a 7RU unit designed with integrated top and bottom cable management for both incoming and outgoing fibers. It accommodates up to 24 H-Series cassettes, providing space for up to 576 LC connections, and can be scaled to support network growth or fully populated for large-scale deployments.

Constructed from aluminum-alloy, the 19” rack-mountable H-Series Housing is lightweight, strong, and can be installed by a single person. Its shallow-depth design (260mm / 10.2”) and front-access-only layout make it ideal for network upgrades or refreshes in both data center and telecom environments.

A flat front door protects the installed assemblies while offering a clean surface for custom exterior labeling. Internally, a comprehensive port labeling table ensures easy identification. Small magnetic door catches and a hinged bottom panel provide secure and convenient access to cassettes and assemblies.

Cable entry is possible from either side of the housing, with 0.75RU of cable management at the top for high fiber count cables and 1.25RU at the bottom for patch cord routing. Integrated cable management maintains proper bend radius for both incoming and outgoing fibers, ensuring optimal network performance while keeping cables organized and easy to manage.
